- On arrival at your destination airport we will stay in a luxury hotel, but on trek we'll be camping in two man tents. There's no cooking or erecting of tents for you though, these are fully catered trips and all you have to do is drink the tea that's offered when you arrive in camp each evening. Every morning you'll be woken with tea and hot water for washing, and you'll get a hearty cooked breakfast. Every evening will see you in the mess tent for a hearty three course meal.
- The trekking day starts early, with the light, and on most days we walk for around 6 hours. At altitude this can make you pretty tired, but our doctor will be on hand should you have true altitude problems, which would be unusual with the time we allow on trek for acclimatisation..
- There's nothing to carry either, apart from your own daysack containing your waterproof just in case, your water and snacks and your suncream. The rest of your gear will be carried for you by our amazing porters
- Our porters are well treated on trek. We support porters rights and believe in fair wages and a sensible load. We also promote the Himalayan Tourist Code - we leave no rubbish, and, as they say, take only photographs and leave only footprints. We do our best to protect the places we love.

Equipment
When you book on a trek you will be offered full advice about any equipment you need - but mainly this will consists of sensible walking clothes, a goretex waterproof,
walking boots that support your ankles and a good season 3 sleeping bag. It can be cold at night at altitude and out on safari.
Supporters
We are able to negotiate a 10% discount on trekking gear and boots from Outside in Hathersage, near Sheffield. You can view their products on line if you can't get into the shop, but will
need to ring with your order in order to obtain your discount.
Insurance
Like all trekkers in high remote places you will need helicopter evacuation insurance on trek. This can be arranged through us or independently if you wish, although you
will find many firms offering it online. You will also need a visa if trekking in Nepal - the form can be obtained from the Nepalese embassy in London and processing takes around 14 days. Otherwise all you
need is your energy, your enthusiasm and your commitment. We will do the rest!
